For Alfred Moergeli’s SWISS Safety + Health Engineer EigV/BSV Diploma (Executive Smmary in German only):
Protect workers (and management staff and vistors as well) against machinery by a Proximity Warning / Anti-Collision System (PWS/ACS).
Thank you TRANSCO Sedun for the unique opportunity and gracious support!

Working for and at the Gotthard Base Tunnel from 1999 until 2013, we supported all major contractors at Sedrun, Amsteg, Bodio and Faido, including the Total Services Contractor installing and commissioning the high-speed railway systems, for all required Safety Management Systems (SMS), Risk Assessments (RA), Conformity Assessments (CA) and CE Markings (CEM) of all Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM’s) and other critical equipment, project-specific audits,
Process/Safety Reviews (PSR’s) and many other second level support tasks.

The biggest thanks goes to all crews on site,
safely managing the unforeseeable (= Risk Management in Action) in high risk environments as their daily routine.
Many of them moving into places every day where no human being has ever been before. Therefore, always …
